coffee, no regularity

Does coffee influence sequential thinking? I wondered after seeing pictures of spiders that made webs after drinking coffee. I was shocked to see how much effect coffee has on the pattern made by the spider.
I already quit drinking sugar in my coffee. Maybe I should quit coffee and drink herbal tea instead.
Maybe my coffee drinking behaviour is responsible for my "but first syndrom", rather than a chaotic nature?

I've been toning down my caffeine intake primarily because I don't want to be addicted (it's been proven to be addictive) and I really don't want to be reliant on more chemicals to make me to be me.

Also, although I did find those web pictures interesting, I wonder how much caffeine was fed to those spiders. Spiders are sensitive to chemicals and not much would go a very long way

See how much caffeine it would take to kill a person: http://www.energyfiend.com/death-by-caffeine/

Thanks stevenski for your second scaffolding of me. lol
On the scientific scale you would be ranking in the highest five who visit my blog, even if I count history and psychology as science.
On the writing scale I don't know yet, because many writers that I know don't feel comfortable to write poetically on this blog instead of scientifically, although I would encourage it.

I don't like to be addicted either... but it seems so easy to regulate my day with coffee.
Even if spiders are sensitive to chemicals, we are too (is our brains the most sensitive bodypart to chemicals?).

I have learned that research used to concentrate on what kills us rather than what harms us. We have a lot of catching up to do.

The caffeinated spiderweb fits my mental image of the worldwide web. Perhaps the internet is populated largely by coffee drinkers.
