Blue

What makes the sky blue?
Is it the Tyndall effect or the Rayleigh scattering or are these merely descriptions of the mechanism shown?

    Well, as I explained to my sons - it's because God ran out of red while painting Mars.

    That's a good one. The sky is unusually blue here for may. We're enjoying it. How do you explain the red tainted sunsets?
